Odysseys

We live in an age of predicted catastrophic climate change, so we are told by those in the know. I see no reason to doubt the science, the experts. To save our planet, and all it gives life to, we need to change our ways. Reduce our carbon footprint, bring down those emissions. ‘How dare you!’ demands the angry young Swede. There are so many ways both within and without our control to change things. One of those ways, often quoted, is to stop flying.
The contrails and carbon of the long haul and the unnecessary convenience of the local. One day it will all come to an end (for good or ill) but in the meantime, selfish though it may seem to the inheritors of our lovely planet, I still have things to do and places to go. Please accept my apologies for my part in destroying your world but you have to understand; for me, time is running out!
“…and your fear and your dread is on every beast of the earth, and on every fowl of the heavens, on all that creepeth on the ground, and on all fishes of the sea, into your hand they have been given.” (Genesis 9:2)
